Part v
He was looking through her small collection, mostly of some of the newer movies, "Does Enchanted sound okay?" He hadn't actually seen it yet. His mom and dad had actually gone to see it.
Turning around to look at the title Velvet smiled at his choice, "Ah, it was a cute movie, sure, if you haven't seen it. You'd think that Disney was thinking about those girls who thought that true love can't be true," she placed a plate on the table in front of the couch. She plopped beside him lightly.
He had already put it in, he put his arm behind her, he wanted to hold her, but he knew how she saw that. "You've seen it?"
She nodded, "I watched it recently, when the pups were about. The only way to keep them busy is by popping in a movie," Velvet blushed, she had spoken out of turn, she had spoken as if it were casual to have little wolf kids running about the place.
He smiled then chuckled a bit, he gently brushed her blushing cheek with his finger. 'How cute." He replied. "My mom says most kids are like that."
Velvet was glad for the rain that brought on the early darkness. She didn't want him to see that her blush got darker, and as the movie began to roll, Velvet slowly settled in. She had to admit to herself that she was comfortable with him, that was until she heard the back door open. It exited out to the backyard, smaller pitters of steps made their way a bit awkwardly up the steps. This is how Velvet knew...she wouldn't be comfortable for long. The smaller wolves entered, the more spontaneous ones jumped about their feet whereas the shy ones stayed by the door. One curious pup ventured toward Velvet and Aaron slowly. In her mind Velvet counted, five, okay all of them were there.
Aaron smiled. "Ahh, they're sweet." He smiled at them. "Do they need something?" He asked her, he figured she'd know more about it then he would.
"I think they're just trying to get away from the rain," she answered, standing, "you guys are tracking water all over the place," Velvet told them. She stood and left the room, leaving the pups to congregate in the middle of the room, keeping enough distance away from Aaron that he couldn't reach them but they could see him. Soon, Velvet returned with towels. The curious pup went up to Aaron, tugging with his teeth on his pants. When the pup moved, water dripped from his coat.
He didn't want to startle him so he smiled at him gently and spoke calmly. "Hi there, I'm Aaron, I'm a friend of Velvet’s."
She went through three of the pups, the curious one was trying to climb up onto the couch. He was succeeding and when he finally got on the other three who weren't wet joined him. "No," Velvet scolded, "you can't be dripping on the couch," she picked him up and began to towel him off. The spontaneous one barked and growled at Aaron, he was taught to be cautious around strangers. "Aaron is a guest," Velvet rubbed the pup down as the other one jumped onto the couch. Their scruffy fur was settling itself down. They all had variating coats ranging from shades of black to light brown and white. A werewolf had different colors, more unique.
Aaron chuckled. "they are so sweet, and I don't blame them, I am kind of strange, if you have an extra towel, could I help?" he asked smiling sweetly at her.
Aaron chuckled and picked one up drying it off. "They're sweet..." He noticed Velvet sitting close to him, his face flushed a bit. "there you go, all dry." He smiled and patted his head, before noticing the curious one curled up in his lap, he smiled gently and scratched behind his ears
He yawned a bit, making little noise, cuddling closer to Aaron, whilst Velvet looked out the window for a moment, she spoke along the lines of, "The rain will probably last a while...if it clears enough to show the full moon, there'll be a big brawl. It's better when it's between other races, but we're equally matched." One of the pups put her head underneath Velvet's hand, seeking attention and bringing comfort to the wolf-girl. She smiled, patting her head, directing her attention to the tv though it was really on Aaron.

Aaron looked at her, he smiled a bit. "Should I leave before then?" He asked, he used his free hand to brush a strand of her hair back behind her ear. His other hand was busy scratching the pup behind his ears.
"You can stay as long as you want...that is...if you still want to go with me tomorrow?" she asked about the plans they had made earlier, Velvet would have to cancel the part about showing him a pack, they had enough in the very room to go around.
Aaron looked at her. "and not get to spend time with the most beautiful girl in our school, your joshing me right?" He smiled. "of course I still want to go."
"We'll exchange it for getting the chance to let me ride in your porsche," she joked a bit, smiling as well. Had so much time passed? The movie was nearing it's end, the ballroom scene played and captured the little one's attentions. The music was soothing to Velvet, without thinking she leaned her head on Aaron's shoulder, thinking about how cute the movie really was.
"I'd love to take you." He smiled he put his arm around her holding her close gently. he smiled as he watched the pups.
Velvet didn't notice, she was falling asleep. Rather, she was already asleep. The full moon was approaching, and for Velvet that meant the only time in the month that she could transform. She wondered in her dreams how she would ever choose between her pack or the human world.
A pup yawned as well treading carefully along Velvet's lap as to not disturb her, curling up beside the one in Aaron's lap. It would be cold tonight...the rain assured that.
Aaron just smiled he held Velvet close to him he stroked the pups with his free hand, trying to warm them up, he already had two of them on his lap.
The sliding door opened from the back and a voice called, "Is it cold over here Vel--" Velvet's mother cut herself off, "Why hello there," she smiled at seeing Aaron's presence, more so at the position that they were in. "I'm Velvet's mom, Lep. She's always saying that odd names run in the family, now you have proof." She shut the sliding door, "It's a bit chilly in here, I'll go get one of Velvet's blankets." Lep didn't know how long the boy would stay but when she returned she lay the blanket over them, adjusting it a bit to accommodate the pups. She finally sat in the other chair, "So, what's your name?" she hadn't given him a chance to talk yet.
Aaron smiled and chuckled just a little bit. He was careful not to wake up Velvet. "My name is Aaron, and my mom's name is Sky, so I'm use to it. Its a pleasure to meet you, Vevet has been talking about you a little lately.
"Must be the usual," Lep waved it away slightly smirking, "I assume you're the one that she was crying over a bit ago," chuckling a bit she added with some hint of sadness, "it would have happened if she fell in love within the pack or out. Y'know, she cares for others more than herself," Lep thought of it as stepping right into the arms of law...but law wasn't fate. If fate destined Velvet to do such things as let herself go, then screw fate over again. She'd make her own destiny...though Lep could never say that to her daughter. Her daughter that leaned against Aaron's shoulder shifting a bit closer for warmth and comfort. "You must really be an odd one to catch her attention."
Aaron looked at Velvet then back at Lep. He brushed her hair back. "She as crying over me....I just told her I loved her, and she was worried about me because she was worried what the pack would do to me, she says that you guys may be at war?"
"Ah? She told you just about everything...but you've got it wrong. She's worried that you'll be used as her weakness. Even if she's not a full wolf, or a full werewolf, Velvet is part of the pack. We tend to try not to make ties to humans or the human world because humans are more...easily targeted. She's worried about another pack finding you, and using you to get to her or our pack. Especially in times of war...like now. The healer did tell her that any new transfer students were probably the new pack that is waging war against us." Lep's eyes narrowed, she suspected that something like that happened, it was likely, what with having such a thing happen.
Aaron looked at her. "Ahh I see, did she tell you that we got a transfer student?" She didn't want to leave Velvet, ever, he loved her too much, and he didn't care who she was or what she was.
Lep noticed that it got darker, she elaborated that it was late as well as the rain, pitch darkness. Did he want to stay over? "No...but I would have found out eventually. She wouldn't tell anyone in the clan, that's how she is. We'd find out on our own, we have other eyes in places."
Velvet stirred at the sound of their voices, however light. It was nearing the full moon as she had been thinking about before. Her senses were heightened. Though she remained sleeping, one of the pups was sliding off her thigh in his sleep.
He nodded of course they would. "Oh.." He looked at his watch, he really didn't want to disturb Velvet, but he knew he should go home. "Its late I should get going, oh and the girls name is Xash.
Lep sighed, "There's no way to leave without waking her, she's an extremely light sleeper. Wake her before you go as well, I'd rather her in bed." Lep smiled, but on the inside she was testing the name on her tongue, Xash...
She stood, Lep also had to get back to the pack, "I hope to see you in the future as well Aaron," she declared waving, "I'll say goodbye for now, though," she left out the back door.
He smiled. "Of course." He picked Velvet up, "Um Vel, where is your room, dear?"
Velvet slowly woke, found herself in his embrace and her eyes widened. They adjusted to the dark quickly, noticing that the blanket was on the couch with the pups, "O-over there," she said blushing, "Aaron..." she murmured adding on, "I need to put the little ones to bed correctly."

Aaron nodded. "Alright, but then I have to get you to bed, you need your sleep." He smiled gently at her. "I'll help you." He set her down, reluctantly.

She rubbed her eyes a bit, before moving toward the couch, "Pick em up and put them on this couch," she instructed with a light voice, moving through the darkness, "Can you see?" she asked another question, setting blankets upon the couch that she had mentioned earlier. Velvet glanced at him in the black of night, wondering why he had stayed so long anyway
Aaron smiled. "Yes I can see, the moon gives enough light, and I'm not like my mother, she's night blind." He picked the pups up slowly and put them on the couch.

Velvet gently placed the blanket over them. She gently scruffed up one of their coats. "I'll see you out Aaron," she realized that she still needed to change her clothes. "We'll see each other tomorrow."
He smiled at her, "Of course, I still owe you a ride in my porsche, don't let me forget. I may just have to stop by more often..." He kissed her cheek. "Good night, Velvet.'
She'd allow it, he wouldn't tell anyone, she knew, "G'night Aaron," Velvet smiled a bit. Somehow she knew that she wouldn't forget, and neither would Aaron. In the cover of night, the wolf-girl watched leaning against the railing at the top of the stairs.

He got into bed slowly, it'd been a long night, but he certianly had enjoyed himself. He just liked spending time with Velvet, it didn't matter if they talked or did any of that other stuff, that boyfriend and girlfriends did, it just mattered that he was with her.
